Robert E. Reeves is a Texas-based author, published songwriter, and poet with a growing catalog spanning fiction and non-fiction. He is the author of five non-fiction self-help books, as well as the suspense thriller Before Dawn. His second thriller, Innocent Murder, is currently in its final edit phase and set for release soon. “Innocent Murder” is a Boston-set story of a journalist forced to investigate a murder that hits closer to home than anyone realizes.

Born and raised in Texas, Robert graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown with a degree in economics, with an emphasis in English, literature, and writing, providing a foundation that's shaped every book, song, and poem he's written since. Before turning to fiction full-time, he built a career in insurance and mortgage lending, experience that lends a grounded, real-world edge to his storytelling.

Robert lives in Trophy Club, Texas, with his wife and their Golden Doodle, Myles. His two children are grown and out of the house, though he still claims full credit for their sense of humor. When he's not writing, he's usually found on a golf course, playing music, or planning his next trip.
